A useful sequence changes the conversation each time. Confirm receipt first, restate the value next, surface the real question, add relevant proof, and then close the loop. Five copies of “just checking in” only create five chances to be ignored.
Keep every message easy to answer. Ask one question, avoid manufactured urgency, and give the customer a graceful way to say not now. The goal is a decision, not an endless thread.

Send a short confirmation one calendar day after the quote. Its only job is to make sure the quote arrived and give the customer an easy way to flag a question or missing detail. If that date falls outside your customer’s working hours, schedule it for their next appropriate work window.
Add a useful reason for the message: clarify the result, ask which part of the decision is unresolved, share a relevant customer outcome, or confirm whether the timing changed. Avoid sending the same ‘checking in’ sentence repeatedly.
Five touches across roughly three weeks is a practical default for many service businesses. Adjust for the size and urgency of the work, and stop immediately when the customer answers, declines, or asks for a later date.
State that you do not want to crowd their inbox, ask whether they want to proceed, pause, or close the quote, and make every answer acceptable. A clean close-the-loop note often gets the reply that repeated nudges do not.
